2015 RSC February Week 4, Sweet 16 Progress and a Baby Quilt Finish

The last week of pink fun and I'll add two more 4.5" scrappy pink blocks and soon, a cotton knitted dishcloth. Twelve colorful 'Sweet 16' blocks made it into the picture. To see what others made with their pink scraps, go here.

I finished my new great granddaughter's baby quilt this week. A month early. I used a Me and My Sister Designs charm pack called "Bandana" and some yardage from their fabric collection called "Good Morning". I also used the same Me and My Sister baby quilt pattern I used a few weeks ago.
It's quilted with a loose free motion meander.

And a picture of the backing. After a go in the washer and dryer it finished a soft, sweet 35" x 42".

Love your dishclothes - and your pile of sweet16's are coming right along. Super sweet baby quilt - great color. And finished early is always a good thing.

I love the green border on the baby quilt. I can't believe you are a great grandmother. I always think of you as a motor cycle chick. I guess I'll have to modify my image of motor cycle chicks.

Love your sweet baby quilt. Congrats on the soon to be addition to your family. Love to see new babies.
And your stack of Sweet 16s is looking good. Your blog showed off the Good Night Irene you made, so I went to see it, too. Love that you used black and white print for the Xs. Mine is lighter fabrics with little print. Hugs

Great use of scraps. The baby quilt is darling. I love Me and My Sister Designs. I just helped my mom pick out fabric for a quilt using Bandana and Pam Kitty Garden.

Love the colors of your quilt - girly without being overly pink :-)

I am still loving your sweet 16's! Yea for a finish! What a sweet baby girl quilt! That is a pretty pattern. Hope to see you tomorrow! Don't look for any show and tell from me. :( I still need to sandwich my Love Notes quilt so I don't think it's going to be done by tomorrow. Drat....

I'm so impressed by your output each week in so many projects. I plan to check out the charity site as well. Still a very new blogger catching on, thanks to So Scrappy and others.
